Mitten Kits

   Each mitten kit contains 100% wool yarn, complete instructions, and a color photograph.  (Adult sizes.)  Knitting needles are not included. 

   Ann Desmet designed the snowflake mitten kit.  This mitten uses a 3-ply light charcoal gray yarn and knits up quickly.   Snowflake color is available in natural, navy, spruce green or cranberry.   Please specify color choice.     

   The fleece-lined mitten picture shows the inside of the mitten (on the left) and the outside of the mitten (on the right).  This pattern has been adapted from an old Maine mitten pattern.  The fleece that is inserted while knitting, will "felt" while being worn to create an extra inner lining of warmth.

   The roving mitten is another adaptation from an old Maine mitten pattern.  The picture shows the outside of the mitten (on the left) and the inside of the mitten (on the right).  This extra lining of warmth is created by carrying pencil roving (a thin piece of unspun wool) like an extra color. 

   Please specify color for the fleece-lined or roving mitten kits:  Midnight blue, cranberry, spruce green, charcoal, dark sheep gray, medium sheep gray, light sheep gray and natural.
